The BCER is seeking specialized technical expertise in avian and bat ecology to support the review of Energy Resource Activities Act (ERAA) applications for renewable energy projects, including the evaluation of proposed mitigation and monitoring measures and the provision of advice to decision-makers. The work will also support the refinement of guidance materials and the consistent application of best management practices for assessing and managing potential impacts to birds and bats.
