NOI21325001 - Notice of Intent Charter Telecom Support Services Closed

The British Columbia Energy Regulator (BCER) is hereby giving notice of the intent to renew our support agreement for network segmentation. The renewal will be purchased through Charter Telecom that was the successful bidder on Invitation to Quote #21224915. The following responsibilities will be within scope:

• 3-year network segmentation premium support for workloads.
  

The BCER has chosen not to tender this contract for the following reasons:

1. The BCER is not looking to replace or move away from our current network segmentation solution and is only interested in purchasing support for the next three years.
2. Charter has an exclusive and confidential agreement with the BCER network segmentation vendor for our account and was the successful vendor through an ITQ process to purchase licensing and consulting services.

Resellers wishing to object to this decision should contact the procurement team via email at Procurement@bc-er.ca on or before 2:00 p.m. local time on July 19, 2024, presenting specific reasons for their objections. Reseller ability to offer the same level of service at a lower cost in the same time frame will be the key criteria regarding the consideration of reseller objections.
