Description

The BCER is seeking parties qualified to provide an evaluation of risk and regulatory solutions for contaminated soil, sediment and water. These include managing soil material at depth in excavations, managing soil treatment outside of CSR (Contaminated Sites Regulation) Protocol 19 and providing a risk based remedial options matrix to support BCER’s decision making process.

Questions and Answers

If you have any questions about this posting, please email procurement@bc-er.ca.

The outcome of this RFP should allow us to position ourselves with a better approach towards complex remedial options/risk management methods on sites that may pose more challenging than a straightforward remediation. The application of this will allow the BCER to better prioritize or rank sites within our portfolio.

There is no predetermined deadline, but we would expect the final products to be ready for utilization within 6months of contract execution. Please include your most likely scenario for turnaround from a September start into your proposal, but a mutually agreed upon completion date with the successful proponent will be part of the procurement process.

While we do have some current sites in mind that this project may help to inform, the scope looks to generate (among other deliverables) a more general approach to a remediation option/strategy matrix.
