212250124 Notice of Intent - Qualys Vulnerability Management Suite Closed

Description

The British Columbia Energy Regulator (BCER) is hereby giving notice of the intent to renew our support agreement for vulnerability management. The renewal will be purchased through Qualys Canada Ltd. The following responsibilities will be within scope:

• 3 year licensing and support for vulnerability management, asset management and patching remediation tools.
  
  

The BCER has chosen not to tender this contract for the following reason:

1. The BCER is not looking to replace or move away from our current solution and is only interested in purchasing licensing and support for the next three years.
2. Purchase is made directly via the software vendor (Qualys) and not a reseller.

Resellers wishing to object to this decision should contact the procurement team via email at Procurement@bc-er.ca on or before 2:00 p.m. local time on February 7, 2025 presenting specific reasons for their objections. Reseller ability to offer the same level of service at a lower cost in the same time frame will be the key criteria regarding the consideration of reseller objections.
